Revell Model Starter Set Trabant 601S "Builder's Choice"
Fans see the generation of the small van known as the T3 as the last "real" Bulli, because it was the last type to be powered by a rear-mounted engine. It differed from its legendary T1 and T2 predecessors in its modern, utilitarian styling and more spacious interior.
This time, the Builders have chosen to highlight a little piece of German history. The Trabant 601S was the third and most-produced model of the East GermanTrabant series of small cars. Nicknamed the "Trabi", it was manufactured by the Sachsenring Automobilwerken Zwickau from 1964 to 1990.
