Credit Card Orders
Eliminator-RC accepts Visa, and MasterCard credit cards. When using your credit card, please provide your credit card billing address if different from the shipping address and daytime/nighttime phone numbers. If the billing address or the security code does not match that which is on file at the financial institution, if authorization is not given for any reason, or if the issuing bank cannot support verification efforts, we reserve the right to cancel the order without notification. In most cases, "virtual credit cards" cannot be verified. We do not recommend using a virtual credit card on your Eliminator-RC orders.
If you regularly ship orders to an address other than your credit card billing address, we ask that you contact your credit card company and ask them to list the address as an alternate address on your account. Credit card companies are very willing to offer this service to you and it could mean less delays when placing your orders with Eliminator-RC and other companies. Please note that we cannot work out credit card problems with the financial institution; you must settle problems with them and reorder once the problem is resolved. We do not assume any responsibility for bank fees or exchange rate incurred as a result of using a Debit Card for your purchases and/or return credit.
We backorder out-of-stock merchandise whenever possible unless you specify that you do not want an item backordered. Certain sale merchandise, products with uncertain availability, items priced under $10.00 and discontinued items may not be backordered. We only charge shipping once per order and will not charge you twice for orders containing backorders. We will only ship back orders via an "express" ship method at the customer's request. We do not assume back orders are to ship express shipping when requesting express for in-stock merchandise. Backorders shipped to international addresses or via "Express" shipping methods will incur special shipping charges with each shipment.
If you feel that your order is missing merchandise, please carefully read your invoice as your order may have been shipped from two locations and may arrive on two different days.
American and International Orders
Eliminator-RC ships all over North America. Please send payment in the form of PayPal. Please do not request that we falsify invoices or suppress tariff codes or country-of-origin information.
All sales are final on merchandise sold. Exchange for other items is permitted only on gift items and must be stated before / during purchase. On exchanges all shipping costs for returned items will be covered by the buyer. All items must be unopened in original packaging for exchanges. Gift exchanges can not be exchanged for gift cards.
If the item you wish to return is inoperable, but has no apparent damage, it is considered defective. The instructions on how to handle this type of return will vary, since some manufacturers insist on handling defects directly. Please refer to manufacturers return / warranty process located in the item's manual or call / email Eliminator-RC for help.
Damaged merchandise includes items that have been damaged in shipping. If a shipment arrives at your door with apparent shipping damage, please refuse the delivery. If you have already accepted delivery and then find shipping damage, please call our Order Assistance line immediately. Save all packaging material and paperwork; do not throw anything away! If you attempt to return the merchandise yourself, you will jeopardize our chances of making a claim, and you may not receive credit for the return. Please take photo evidence of box and damaged contents.
When merchandise is purchased with a promotional discount based on the overall amount of the order, the discount may no longer apply once merchandise is returned. The result will be a charge back for the promotional discount. This can affect the credit given or be placed on your Eliminator-RC account as a balance due. Questions About Recently Placed Orders
If you have placed an order with Eliminator-RC recently and need some information about it there are a number of ways you may contact us. Please note that since we begin processing your order immediately after receiving it, we are unable to make changes or cancel the order once it is placed. You may check on the status of recently placed orders on our web site using our Customer Information Center. Once your order invoices it has entered our shipping process and cannot be changed or canceled.
Pictures and Descriptions
All pictures and descriptions are provided by manufacturers. Running changes and discrepancies may occur. Please refer to original manufacturer part numbers or contact us if you have any questions prior to ordering.
We take pride in our low prices and do constant price comparisons to make sure that we offer the industry's lowest possible prices and best overall value. If you find a lower price on a product prior to purchase somewhere else, please call or email us--and we'll do our best to match it. Does not apply to close-outs, out-of- stocks or prices due to typographical or other errors. We reserve the right to price match solely at our discretion. We will not price match on completed orders.
Parental Verification of Orders
Unestablished customers under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present to verify any order placed by phone before an order will be processed. Also, our phone representatives may limit the length of inquiry calls.
Eliminator-RC uses a variety of shippers. We reserve the right to choose the shipper. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate requests for preferred shippers. Once the order has shipped, we must allow the shipper a reasonable time frame to deliver. We reserve the right to request a signature for proof of delivery. Shippers reserve the right to request a signature. We cannot demand a shipper to leave a package. You may contact the shipper for instructions on available options. Once the package is successfully delivered, we are not responsible for theft or damage to the merchandise. When using a forwarding company, we are not responsible for lost or damaged merchandise after the forwarding company has accepted delivery. The forwarding company must report shipping damage for a claim to be filed. We are not responsible for delays in express delivery orders due to weather conditions and, or attempted deliveries. Export documentation will not be provided. All orders over $100 CDN* receive free shipping size restrictions may apply (see below).
Free Shipping Classificiations
Free shipping covers basic shipping within Canada. You are required to purchase shipping insurance for your order for our protection and yours. Handling fee is $3.80 and insurance is $2.25 per $100. Items with any one measurement over 1m or over 22.7kg an $18 ($27 during holiday season) oversize shipping fee will be added on. Larger items that do no qualify for free shipping maybe written in the product description or will not have shipping rates shown at check-out. In those cases, we will contact you after your order with a shipping quote (These items will not ship CanadaPost due to size and an individual shipping quote is required). Free shipping applies to online orders only. Remote area surcharge may be applied. Customers will be contacted after order is placed.
Limits of Responsibility
We accept no responsibility for crash damage and/or loss of kits, engines, accessories, etc. incurred during operation of a radio-controlled model. In most cases it is very difficult or impossible to determine whether crash damage was actually due to radio equipment failure or to operator error. Also, we cannot be held responsible for any purchased components that are incorporated into radio systems or problems caused by incompatibility between radio components, parts, and repairs not completed by our service center, etc. All of the products we sell are intended for retail consumption by our customers and are not intended for resale. Any consequences arising out of the resale of merchandise purchased from Eliminator-RC is the responsibility of the seller, not Eliminator-RC. We reserve the right to limit quantities and discounts. Also, please note that most items we offer are intended for use in Canada & the USA. International radio frequency and electric current requirements are the responsibility of the buyer. Model airplane performance claims typically apply to density altitudes under 3,000 feet above sea level. If you will be flying your airplane above this, additional considerations such as motor power, choice of propeller and aircraft weight should be taken into consideration. All legal rules and regulations must be followed when using products. This is your responsibility to do so.
Price and/or Description Changes
All prices, pictures and descriptions on this site and all other Eliminator-RC publications are subject to change. Eliminator-RC maintains no responsibility for inadvertent errors. In the event of typographical errors on our site or in our publications, Eliminator-RC reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders at its sole discretion. Please contact us within 30 days regarding price or promotion discrepancies.
